| 3009 | CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS INTERNATIONAL VALUES-ORIENTED INTERNSHIP PROGRAM TO TAKE PLACE IN FALL/WINTER 2016 | GLOBAL RESPONSIBILITY presents an opportunity for emerging leaders to participate in a 10-18 week international internship program. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION After applying and being accepted into this program, participants will travel for a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 18 weeks to another country within the Global Responsibility network. In the receiving country, an institutional sponsor will be responsible for seeing that the participant receives a formation experience consisting of at least the following three elements- values-oriented, family friendly accommodations; an internship with an NGO or in the office of a politician; scholarly and language formation in the field relevant to the internship, to take place at a participating university. COSTS International transportation and health insurance will be paid by the participant. The remainder of the expenses (accommodations and food, local travel, education costs) will be covered by the local sponsors. TIMETABLE Completed applications must be submitted by July 29, 2016. The international internship program will take place during the months of September- December 2016. ELIGIBLE DESTINATIONS The Global Responsibility network has identified institutional sponsors in several countries. The following countries are able to successfully receive internship program participants in 2016: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Hungary, Mexico and United States.
